San Diego sheriff’s deputy charged with insurance fraud

A 40-year-old San Diego sheriff’s deputy, who had claimed that he had suffered a back injury, is denying charges of workers’ compensation insurance fraud after he allegedly was seen working out with heavy weights at a gym.
